my friend recently went to the doctors about a pain they suspected was her kidneys so they did some tests and found some cancer cells in her urine but they said it still might be an anomolie and she might not have it and she gets the results in a couple of weeks but what are the chances it is cancer if they have already found cancer cells present?thanks for any help

I suppose the question that is still uncertain is whether the cells are actually cancerous or not. If they are cancerous, she certainly has cancer ; but it sounds like they're not sure of that yet.

I am my friend and a little afraid to say something to my husband or family please some one help me!!!!!!! I noticed a raised light colored mole like thing on my leg it has been about 2 months now it never goes away and I am not sure about the size but I was looking at my legs today and found 5 more of the same spots very small but they are getting bigger as I write. I am not sure if I should see a dermatoligist or is there a dr out there for skin cancer and what are they called? I know this is stupid but I really do not know if you think it is nothing let me know and or answer my questions since I am scared. sorry to bother you all but I did not where else to ask and I came upon this site and here I am.
Thank you,
Tess

Can't really say wbat it is, but I wouldn't jump to a cancer conclusion. If the spots are growing, though, you need to see a dermatologist.

Why is it difficult to discuss something like this with your husband? If it were him, would he have a hard time discussing it with you?

No I guess it would not be bad to talk to him but I do not want to seem over active about something I will call the DR.
Thank you,
Tess

A couple should be able to communicate about things like that...it shouldn't be any kind of a big deal.

> I will call the DR.

If I were you, I would call your regular doctor and ask for a referral to a dermatologist.
