I have what looks like a wart on the shaft of my penis 2 and one is a mole. I have just found out that i have had them ever since I was a baby. I'm 25 now. Quite a few months back i had sex with a good friend. Then I actually noticed what was going on with my penis. I told her about it. She seemed upset, but said she'd help. Ever since she has had sex with me. She gets tested bi-weekly for HPV and all the rest. She has been doing this since. August. Am i paranoid for nothing? Thanks all -Ned

Id say you're overreacting about the HPV(anything that has been there for years is ALWAYS nothing), but why is she getting tested so often for other things? HPV is the most common STD out there(probably 1/2 of college seniors have it), and it rarely causes problems for men, except genital warts. It can be transmitted to sexual partners, though, and can cause cervical dysplasia(precancerous ) or anal/rectal papillomas(also can be precancerous but less often) in men or women who do receptive anal intercourse(they're the ones getting the penis in them). The thing about HPV is that there are about as many subtypes as, well, about 50 or more. Only 3 or 4 cause cancer, the rest can cause genital warts or body warts. Anytime a lady's Pap smear(cervical "skin")is abnormal, they automatically test for the high risk types of HPV. Anyways, find out why she is getting tested for all these things.

Like white_boy said, getting tested bi-weekly is pretty ridiculous and chances are that this "wart" you have had since you were a baby is not a wart at all.

If you've had them since you were a baby, then they are just moles. If you are so worried about them and risk losing your GF over this, why don't you just go to your doctor and have it evaluated to put everyone's mind at ease?

Indeed, and you could even have them removed, if they are just moles but they worry you.
