Its about 1 centimeter in diameter and in my pubic hair. its itches periodically. it seems to fade a little untill i take a shower then it swells again. i have also been noticing small red dots inbetween my penis and bellybutton the past few days. they have been coming and going. also, i have been getting a lot of ithching in my pubic hair region the past 2 days. ive only had sex with 2 woman. the first being 2 years ago and currently my g/f, who has been tested for STD's and she came out clean. she was tested about 1 month ago. what gives?? please help? I have an appointment to go to plannedparenthood to get checked out but they cant get me in untill may 5th. Im also getting my blood drawn for Syphillis at a different planned parenthood nearby, its free. everything else costs around 50$. please help. thanks.

sounds like a rash maybe? doesn't sound much like a std, but it's good that you're getting tested

when will it go away? how do you think it go there? is it a possibility that I am having an allergic reaction to lubricated condoms or just from the friction of sex? thanks for your help too.

i can't say much because i don't know what it is, to me it doesn't sound like a std, but i'm not a doctor, like i said...you're going to a doctor to get it checked out, and that's a good thing

Perhaps a boil, with the infection spreading? The swelling in the neck suggests the body is fighting an infection. Perhaps pubic lice? That would be consistent with the itching.

You can't do much by yourself about a boil, but you can treat pubic lice with insect repellent - might be worth a try.

It could also be a fungal attack 'jock itch'. You can get stuff for that, too. (Anything for tinea will do.)

Of course it could be many other things. An STD is one of the least likely, I think.

My friend is allergic to latex and gets red bumps from it... But I'm sure you'd know if you were allergic to latex or not.

Nothing is certain, but syphilis is pretty damned rare as a garden-variety college STD. It is much more common in the lower-economic background people-poor, drug abusers, as well as existing along with HIV in many cases.
It is also common in homosexuals.
