My friend Rolling, who i havent talked to in forever, his wife has cancer and i have no idea what to say to him that wouldnt sound lame or cliche. she is such a nice generious woman.

Just because someone is diagnosed with cancer doesn't mean they're dead. If your friends live in your area, offer to help them any way you can. And then follow up.

I would just tell him that you're freinds and that you're there for him if he needs to talk about something or just to get drunk. If you see that it is taking a real toll on him, you might want to kidnap him and have a guys night out and let him just cut it loose! Be his friend and only say things from your heart.

See!!! Everyone thinks im a guy! Pfft!
And he lives in florida so i cant take him out. The doctors said she has a %20 of living, all their daughter knows is that mommy is sick. i feel so incredibly sad i cant describe.

That is very sad. You need to tell them that they are in your thoughts. Mainly, just listen. At a time like that, people sometimes don't want to call because they're uncomfortable, and they don't know what to say. It can be a very "alone" time for people. You don't need to be a poet. You need to keep in contact, if you're close to them.

She was, he took her to disney world for the weekend and when they were at the hotel (driving back home the next day) she passed away.

It's sad that she died, but it's a nice way to go. I hope I die like that, rather than a slow death of dementia in a nursing home.

OMG, Ineligible is right. She was very fortunate. dying of cancer, or a lot of other things, can be very, very difficult.
