Hi, I've always noticed that my penis is always tanner then the rest of my body(when i don't have a tan). I was talking about it once to a friend and he said his wasn't. Then a few days ago, a friend of mine saw some 'photoshopped' gay porn pic and said it was obviously fake because the tan was different(i'm not sure why thats the first thing he noticed but w/e). That obviously shows his is the same color as the rest of his skin like the previous friend. Now this was on AIM so I copy and pasted that to a third friend, who then informed me that his is darker then the rest of his body like mine is.
My question is, why does it seem that some people have darker pigmented skin only there, and others don't? why does that happen? and which is more common?

I don't know why it is, but you're right, some guys' penises are darker than the rest of their body, and some aren't. I don't know of any studies on it.

Yes, same here, and it's never lighter than the rest of your skin, always either similar or darker. I think it has to do with the different kind of skin. The skin on the penis clearly doesn't feel like the skin on your hand for example. So maybe the skin could change how visible the pigment cells are. They get closer to the surface? No real idea though, just theories

I always thought it had something to do with the blood being closer to the surface of the skin there. Of course, I'm no medical expert...

yeah you are right,
i am engineer. i also thought that there is a relation between blood and earth.
if somebody standing outward...means head is on the surface...then you realized that there is force which is try to pull out our blood from the head.
