what are some simple.. low fat.. low carb "dietary" recipes.. that you can eat when you are on a diet.. i remember when i was on a diet and i lost 35 pounds.. i had chicken, wild rice and salad almost every night.. and i loved it.. it was yummmmay

LOW CARB:
atkins friendly cheesecake:
4-5 sticks softened cream cheese
3-4 eggs
15-20 packets splenda
vanilla
1/4 cream

mix all together until smooth. pour into cheesecake pan. bake at 325 for about an hour or until when you shake it, it wiggles a couple inches in the center but the sides are set.
yum. great breakfast food!

splenda is a sugar substitute that has a very low impact on blood sugar. you can use other sweetners if you want but some of them aren't as atkins friendly but better than sugar....
you can eat this if you are not on atkins, but i would go light... fats don't really make you gain weight when you limit your carbs, but if you are on full carb intake watch out.

yup...
LOW CARB RECIPES:
taco salad:
prepare ground beef with taco seasoning
put over lettuce
add some tomatoes, cheese, salsa, sour cream
enjoy!

shrimp scampi:
pound of shrimp
couple cloves of minced garlic
olive oil
white wine (if you want) a splash
lemon juice (a splash)
butter
parsley
basil

put big pat of butter in some olive oil at the bottom of a pan. heat up, add chopped garlic and saute a little bit at low heat. add the wine and lemon (a splash of each) add chopped parsley and basil.
in another pan saute shrimp till pink and drain.
add it to sauce and mix well.
yum!

meat roll ups:
lunch meat
cream cheese
herbs (optional)

if you want combine herbs in cream cheese. spread of meat slices and roll them up.
enjoy!

Atkins so rocks!!

I've tried those before. I like turkey and roast beef. I also like a cajun turkey that my mom gets like every weekend.

another name for them is chicken fingers or chicken strips, you can get them at fridays, chilis, any place really

well you don't have to have low fat to be on a low carb diet... low carb diets work better with more fat in them...
and the meat rollups-- any lunchmeat will do, i like ham and turkey.

if you are so tired while on the diet that you cannot exercise vigorously, you are eating too little carbs and should add an extra serving or two of veggies to your daily total. atkins recommends that you exercise 30 minutes a day 3-5 times a week.
