Hey all, i've had bad breath for about 2 years which isnt to bad so its not much of a problem but now, i'm starting to need to sit on the toilet quite often after I eat a meal. Could there be a connection somewhere with the two?

I also suffered from hives about a year ago but tablets take care of that, maybe all three could be connected somewhere? Any advice much appreciated. I'm booked in for the doctors in 2 weeks but any stuff on here in the meantime would be amazing

Thanks

ChrisJohn

Hey there and welcome to the boards!

Sometimes it's great to look and see if there is any coloration between the foods you eat and having to go to the bathroom. Sometimes spicy foods can really irritate the stomach and intern the intestinal track.

As for the connection between the bad breath and your going to the bathroom frequently, could possibly be. Bad breath can be a result from too much stomach acid, which if the acid is bad enough it can affect your intestinal track, which is something my doc is setting up to be tested for me.

It’s great you have yourself a doc appointment and I hope they can find a permanent solution for you. Keep us posted on what you find.

Take Care!

Bad breath is almost never related to stomach acid actually. 99% of the time it's from what we call tonsil stones (tonsilloliths) or bad oral hygiene. More often than not it's from tonsil stones though.

I hope it can help!
