Most guys do lose their erection after ejaculation, but quite a few lucky guys (especially some guys here) can do it again like you can.
I think it's a useful gift for sex, because all too often the guys cums too soon for the woman. This way he can keep going and make it a better experience for her.

In your early to mid teens, it is often possible for many to keep going after ejaculation and on to another orgasm. Otherwise, it is also normal to go limp and need a brief recovery period. The period increases with age, from a few minutes in the late teens to a much longer time as one gets older. The upside is usually more control as one gets older. Who needs 8 erections if the first one or two get the job done?
