for the past three days I have been taking a crap and it has been coming out GREEN. Like bright green, brigher than this color what could it be from?

Green usually means you're not getting nearly enough protein in your diet and too much fiber, carbohydrates, and fruit (Blueberries are notorious for making poop green). I've only had to deal with this once, when I'd been camping/canoing for a week straight, and everyone on the trek was reaching near miserable proportions when it came to poopin' by the end of the week.
My suggestion is just try to balance out your diet a bit. Eat a porterhouse or three, drink some coffee.

Ever think its something you ate?
I know my 3 year old has shit green on many occasions, he comes to tell me all about it if its big or little or green or brown or any other damned thing, hes proud as hell to use that potty.
alot of foods and drinks contain colorants, they can affect your poop.

Yeah, it does, but his problem seems to be that the food he is eating moves through his body too quickly, so slowing down the process could make BMs a little more pleasant. Still though, you are right. He should drink plenty of water.
It wasn't a proper medical diagnosis to begin with. He may (although I think it's unlikely) have a bigger problem than an unbalanced diet.

man, i just moved out here to AZ a few weeks ago and the second week i was here i ended up being hospitalized for dehydration due to acute diarrhea and days before the diarrhea set in my poop was as you described. they told me it was a virus and i just so happend to get the worst form of it and that something was going around. and yes i drank plent of fluids. it's just my body was passing the liquids before it could absorb them. the green poo prior to this was whatever i contracted in my stomach.
it might not be what you have. but just a word to the wise... more than likely, whatever it was i had can make it where ever ppl travel to. cos i spent the week following that, in sandiego and a buddy of mine that lived there had the same thing it just didnt get as out of control as it did with me.
