If it's bright red blood on the toilet paper, most likely it was piles, or perhaps an anal fissure.
If it's very black, on the other hand, it means internal bleeding and you should get looked at straight away.

i guess it could have been light red, it was very light, almost yellow

Bleeding from the anal area, particularly after a bowel movement, can be due to a variety of causes. If it's bright red an anal fissure or piles would appear to be a strong possibility. However I would advise you to make an appointment to see your GP and get checked out in order to rule out other possible causes. On the balance of probabilities and what you've said I think it's unlikely to be serious but it's as well to get checked out to be on the safe side as soon as possible. Good luck.
