I'm 16 and male, and am just wondering, does anyone here have OCD? Having it myself I've often wondered what other people's compulsions and obsessions are. A few I have are rubbing my eyes and, I'd describe it as pulling my eyelids down. Biting; my gums usually, sometimes I'll bite my index finger when my hand is in a fist. Pretty weird, but I often have to rub a soft material through the spaces between my fingers, first left hand then right, then right then left (or vise-versa) A lot more I'd say, but a major one is reciting a kind of prayer before I can fall asleep.

My mother-in-law used to have to check things repeatedly, especially car door locks.

i don't think this si a ocd.but it is somthign i must do.
skittles and M&Ms..must be color lines in doubles...least favorit to best. (save best color /flavor for last lol) and if i run out of pair of colors i have to go by singles... so i eat the single colors first then twos. i really have no idea why i do this and i have done it for als long as i can remembr. I can't eat them from the bag.
my cloths... i must wash them in a very orderly order. blue jeans, shorts, board shorts & athletic shorts, light color tee shirts (no white) and dark color tee shirts (no red). All white shirts together and then all red shirts together. all underwear together ands all sock together, & Towels together.. . if it’s in the winter all my hoodies go together but in wutever color. so no hoody goes with tee shirts. lol i have so many laundry baskets cuz i have one for each pile almost. lol now Lisa probably gets it why I wear nothing but just shorts all the time. lol

If you feel that you must check it again, even though you've just done so, yes it is.

I have it. My compulsions are repeatedly checking things and counting and evening things out. I'm always counting things, how many letters are in words, etc.
Whenever I have cash, when I put it into my wallet, they all have to face the exact same way, with the bigger bills in the back.
Every time I pass a mirror, I HAVE to at least glance at myself. Why? I don't know.
All my clothes in my closet are sorted by colors, with the darkers colors from the left and lighter colors on the right.
Whenever I'm typing in a password and I mistakenly press another letter, I have to erase the whole entry and re-type my password all over again.
Every time I use the bathroom, I have to wash my hands with warm soapy water and I absolutely have to put lotion on my hands immediately after. I put lotion all over my body everyday.
There are other things I do, but I can't think of them right now.

I constantly have to wash my hands, like, if I touch the floor even. Because your clothes are sorted in a certain way, do you get mad or frustrated if someone moves something? I know I do.

I’ve got it.
I have a thing with numbers, I’m always counting things (ceiling tiles, tiles on the floor, money, what have you, I count all the time).
I have this thing with germs, they freak me out, and I wash my hands constantly (if I’m not able to actually wash them, then I use hand sanitizer).
I tend to tap out rhythms with my finger tips. If I make a mistake in the rhythm I have to star all over again until I get it right.
When I eat french fries, I eat all of the fry except the part I’m holding. I don’t know why, but I just can’t bring myself to eat it.
I check locks and I'm always making sure I turned the coffee pot off before I can leave the house. I normally check the coffee pot four or five times, even when I know I haven't used it, but I do it just in case.
My list could go on forever... I’ll just go ahead and admit it... I’m a loon lol

I don't have it to the extent of some people. If I wanted to, I could do things differently, I would just feel weird for a little bit.
I put socks and shoes on left foot first, then right foot.
Some of the things you do, Kristal, I do, but more out of neatness and organization.
>Whenever I have cash, when I put it into my wallet, they all have to face the exact same way, with the bigger bills in the back. It helps me pay faster.
>Every time I pass a mirror, I HAVE to at least glance at myself. Why? I don't know. I'm just self-conscious. I do this with windows and the sides of cars, too.
>Whenever I'm typing in a password and I mistakenly press another letter, I have to erase the whole entry and re-type my password all over again. I get confused, because all I see are ******* and so I just start over.
The inside of my car is never dirty... If there is anything lying on the floor (pebbles and dust don't count, except when they are really noticable) when I get in it, I have to go throw it away or put it back and then get in my car.
Whenever I check out stuff at the store, I have to organize all of my items by what they are and where they go.

Heh, same thing with me and washing my hands, rhythms, counting (If I'm running late I take the number of minutes I'm late, multiply it by itself, multiply it by itself, ect until I get to where I'm going). For me, I have to make sure doors are locked a ridiculous number of times. I'll lock a door, unlock it, lock it again, then make sure 2-3 times that it's locked. I make sure most appliances are unplugged (toaster/kettle/coffee pot) after I use them.
