So as some of you know i had surgery on tuesday and they prescribed me vicodin. Well today i noticed that close objects seem very blurry. Its hard for me to read stuff within a few inches of me but i can see stuff normally from afar, i was just wondering is this a normal side effect or should i contact my doctor?

I haven't been able to find accommodative problems as you describe mentioned in any lists of side-effects of vicodin, so you should definitely bring it up with your doctor.

My GF's mom did not know she was allergic to Vicodin and almost died. It's a good idea to check if you might be allergic.

Well it seems to have cleared up a bit. I had this patch behind my ear that might have caused it.(The doctor said if i touched the patch then rubbed my eyes my pupils would get huge and what not) so i think that may have been the problem.

I should have figured that out alot sooner lol but ive been out of it for the past few days. Tues-Now has been one giant blur.
