Hey guys, I have been sick A LOT lately. This month alone I've had a cold, a flu, some misclaneous throat problem, and now I have the oddest sinus head ache (worse then any i've had before) and I haven't had my period since mid-July.
To sound like a forum noob: HELP ME!

There have been some awful things around. Despite having a flu shot, I and the whole family were sick for two months, with first flu, then a secondary infection (probably bacterial), then a tertiary bacterial infection that has been pretty tough and required heavy antibiotics to treat. In one of us it got to the middle ear.
Secondary infections happen when you are weakened by the original infection. It's likely that has happened to you. Secondary infections are usually bacterial and can therefore be treated by antibiotics, so you should get yourself to a doctor.

Aye a lot of nasty stuff is going around. I don't normally get sick but I got Strep Throat for the first time in my life just last Thursday (Feeling much better now thanks to some strong antibiotics). People in my office have gotten everything from Sinus infections to the flu to Strep Throat (where I undoubtable got it). Just a nasty time of the year, especially with the weird weather.

I'm sick as well, but it's a minor thing compared to you guys'. I wonder why this is? Change of season, maybe?
All that stuff about homeostasis and an inner environment I learned in school maybe?

I think it's just a new crop of mutated bugs. They seem to be hitting both hemispheres at much the same time.

Wha...? O.O Mutated bugs? Mutated as in taken by scientists and mixed genes with something else mutated? Damn, I knew science would get out of hand one day! x.x

Naturally mutated. Mutations happen all the time. Cold and flu viruses mutate significantly every few months.

I think it's turning into an ear infection, Nightmarish needle pain in my left ear. Seeing doc tomorrow.
