My cat is just over 8 months old and I truly think he suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD)or something . I'm not joking. I'm not trying to be funny. I'm worried about him and I think I need to take him in and have him medicated or something.

I'm trying not to laugh, because this is serious, but I don't know what to do. Sometimes on his good days his fine, but most times he's a holy terror.

Does anyone else have an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Schizophrenia, Psychotic, Obsessive-compulsive personality-anxiety disorder cat?.

You're lucky then!

Cats, dogs and other mammals seem to be able to get many of the same sorts of mental disorders that humans do. Anxiety disorders such as phobias and OCD are especially well-known.

Your cat is still pretty young too. I don't really know much about cats, but up until my dog turned two, he was so hyper and crazy. He chewed on everything (my table, my couch, grrr...) and would nearly knock people over when they came to visit.

He has 'grown' out of it now. He is 2 1/2 now. He still gets excited when someone comes over, but he doesn't chew on anything anymore.

see I want a dog that chews up people that come over. How do I get one that eats people? just strangers, I dont wnat missionaries or salesmen knockin on my door or the fuckers leaving notes on my door about attending church and the great church camp out and buy fucking dominos pizza and all that shit. I want a dog to eat them for me.
Im looking into putting up a fence all the way around the house and an electric gate on the driveway with no other fucking gate so that people have no access to the yard to knock on teh door to begin wtih and let a big ass dog run free inside the fence to detour any asshole from thinking about jumpin over to ring the bell.

Normal behaviour wouldn't count as a disorder.

Examples of dog anxiety disorders include Alleghany Sue and her descendants, which become panicky in new situations or on exposure to humans (I can't find any Web references, sorry), or canine acral lick.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!

We all have those...

My wonderful dad, with his sense of humor, trained his dog on a cute one: "bible boogies" That darned dog would NOT stop barking until someone opened the door to let him know that the bible boogies went away. My step mom would stand at the door (not opening it) and talk to them, but they would leave because they couldn't get passed the dog, my gosh, who would walk through a pit mix behind a closed door to hand out a pamphlet. THEN, when the door DID get opened, the dog would shred every paper left behind... He is old now, and can't hear ANYTHING..so bible boogies don't phase him.

Oh and there is a sign on the door that says,(in a barbed wire frame) "delivery people knock loudly, solicitors knock softly, religious people don't knock at all"

I tease, cause, I don't knock. Call me religious, but uh they laugh when I don't knock and walk right in.

LOL, yeah sure, but you get to track him down in the hills of Elko! I have no idea where he is staying there, and only find him in Winnamucca on the weekends.

And hey, were pretty good too. My daughters 8month old pup says "Rouw rouw rooooo" when you flip her off...Now we're teaching her to say please when she wants us to throw a ball or give her anything else.

Because if you have a dog who will learn a single finger command...AND answer, you can teach her anything!

Besides...It gets tips..lol
