So I have this picture on my cel phone I'd like to put down as my A2A Avatar. Do I need to first send it to my email? Then what? I mean, how do I go about this process? If anyone has any clue please let me know. I'm about to reveal my *TRUE* identity to the A2A boards.

You need to upload it to some website that will host the picture for you like http://www.photobucket.com and others .

1. The first step is to move it from your phone to your computer - sending it to your email is one way to do that, if you can't do a direct link.
2. You may want to adjust the picture with a picture editing program, especially if the file is large.
3. Then you need to host the picture on a server. http://imageshack.us is a very easy free one that needs no registration - just follow the procedure. It will give you a URL for your picture.
4. Then go to My Stuff, My Profile, and near the bottom is a place to put in the URL for your avatar. Put it in in full, including the http://, then click Submit.

Thank you both. One more thing, and I'm sounding real dumb here, but...how do I convert the image from my email (yahoo) to a URL? It says to paste image URL here, but I'm stoopid today (everyday actually) and don't have a CLUE how to do that. My problems are so elementary, aren't they?

The url is what you see as the address of your picture when you upload it to some website... not your email.

Save it from your email to somewhere, go to one of the image hosting sites (sdp and I have given you some choices) and follow their instructions. They will give you a URL.

the image is wider than 90 so it has it smooshed and that kind of distorted it. a 90X90 would looks better.

Well, indeed Roc is correct. That's cool you can right click and see the picture in full, You use a PC, correct? I'm on a Mac at work. At home I have a PC laptop.

I almost got a mac. they said it would be 3 weeks b4 i could get it so i decided to get a pc. Whent and got one the day i decided i didn't want to wait 3 weeks. (if i'm remembering right it was 3 weeks.) I'll probly get a mac laptop in the near future...same as gettign a 250 bike. right now my cash is going on school.
I really want a Mac... i know alot of people are against them but i don't care.
