I know it's normal to have the puffy areolas for a few years, but I have to go to a beach party. Is there a way I can make them go away temporarily? Some sort of OTC drug? Anything?
They're incredibly embarassing and everyone DOES notice them.

I'm afraid not. Wear a shirt at the party.

...Really? Because I was even told, "Don't cheat this time and wear a shirt!"
Damn... If only I could like, freeze 'em for a while.

If they said that, then it seems that whatever you do you'll get some bantering, and you may have to choose which will be most bearable. I think a lot comes down to how much self-confidence you have, so whether you can let comments flow over you like water off a duck's back, or whether they will hurt.

Well, I know it will hurt. I've had them for about five years now. I've ALWAYS been sensitive. I even shave my chest, stomach, and back to compensate for the way I feel about them. I'm even going to tan in my back yard for a few hours to get rid of the farmer's tan.
Maybe with the clean torso and tan skin, they won't notice?

It sounds like they have probably noticed already, but perhaps they won't say anything. Five years is a long time to have them.
I forgot to say before, welcome to A2A.

Heh, thanks. I may be posting here very often.
I think I'll just do what I had planned and take the confidence and swagger approach. Just totally ignore the nipples and hopefully everyone will ignore them too.
Spending a lot of time in the water could help. Salt water tends to make them sore and then they retract.

I think that confidence and swagger and ignoring them is the right approach!

Just be cautious and wear a rash guard if you choose to boogie board.
