I need to know if the rectum is usually "clean", which means no nasty chunks of crap on the walls of the mucosa? I'm asking because I watched a "documentary" about anal sex on TV, I think it was BBC. There was a woman which taught on anal sex. She was totally into it and claimed that the rectum is usually clean unless you have to crap and the crap is already on its way to the exit...
So basically according to this woman the rectum is totally clean and free from crap-chunks during the day.And this is exactly what I don't believe but since I'm not into anal sex I also cannot really tell if she is right.
So my question goes out to all anal sex experienced people. Can you tell me if the rectum is usually free from small crap chunks or are there always small chunks in it which didn't get crapped out?
I'm asking because in the past I had some problems with hemorrhoids and the doc told me to apply some cream in the rectum and I always used gloves to apply it and I remember that in the rectum I always felt stuff. First I thought it's hemorrhoids but it wasn't!!! It was crap chunks and this even though I had just crapped and in spite of this there were stil small crap chunks which were left behind. When I watched this I remembered this and now I ask myself if this is normal or not.

As for your question, yes the rectum is usually free of feces. And in my experience with Anal sex, I have never had an issue with "crap Chunks".

Well, I thought crap chunks is the proper term to describe it.
But this worries me. If crap chunks should not be in there then what does this mean? Usually I don't have any bowel problems. I also did not feel like there is something in there which doesn't belong there. I wonder what this means but I also cannot go to my doctor and told me that I found crap chunks in my rectum while applying hemorrhoid cream with latex gloves. This would sound pretty sick...

Trust me, your doctor has heard worse.It takes a lot to surprise or gross out a doctor, they hear about everything you could imagine.

Why would that sound sick?
Docs know how hemorrhoids are treated.
Besides, haven't you seen shows where the doc has to get a lodged light bulb out of someones poop shoot? IT REALLY HAPPENS....
I would bet if there is something there, that shouldn't be as Ntro says, it is a lack of fiber.

But usually I eat a lot of fiber. 
This is not good. But I also don't want to get obsessed with this and end up quecking my rectum all the time to see if there are crap chunks in there.

But what if this is dangerous or points out to something?
This is really awkward. I mean I have been to proctologists a few times and they usually also take a look inside with their metal tube or whatever this is and actually I always thought that it's at least clean in there but when I imagine that they see those crap chunks in there then this is not only totally awkward but also negative in terms of checking out the rectum. I mean if the rectum isn't really clean then they also cannot see if there is anything wrong with it. What if they couldn't really see anything due to crap chunks but they also didn't want to say anything and then they simply pretended that everything is fine and thought "Boy, I have never seen so many crap chunks, this is disgusting..."

I think you're making way to big of a deal about it.
First off a doctor is not not going to say something because "Boy, I have never seen so many crap chunks, this is disgusting...", just not going to happen. Especially a proctologist, he sees shit all the time.. literally!

But if the rectum is usually free from crap and I have crap chunks in there which I obviously do not excrete or which are maybe attachements or stragglers and which don't make it then I don't know what this means or if this has to be treated but I don't really think that there is anything one could do against it.

Wow! Is this really true? Does everybody have such nasty,stubborn crap deposits in his bowels which cannot be crapped out?
I thought that this is just a scam. I even heard a doctor say that this is not true and that you cannot clean your colon.

I think whenever I had a finger in my rectum it was never clear and there have always been crap chunks and I thought these chunks are hemorrhoids or the prostate but obviously it wasn't...

You need to let this lady go. She was most likely referring to her own self, not you. You will probably have crap in there all the time. My rectum is always full of crap, even if I just took a huge dump. I remember a thread about something like this a long while back and the general conclusion was that some people just have naturally clean rectums while some don't.

First of all, I hope, I *really* hope you don't get OCD about checking your rectum for crap chunks, because it will seriously inflame your hemorrhoids!
I think the presence of chunks is totally random from person to person, depending on their own natural cycle of going. Some people have several BM's a day, some only one, some once every few days.
Regardless of actual 'chunks' being present, the bacteria which is dangerous if injested is pretty much always there, e. coli.
I would say good rule of thumb, handwashing or penis washing, or whatever you want to put in there washing is always a good idea. And for salad tossing, make sure the area is somewhat cleaned up before starting. Although I would also guess that some people react to e. coli exposure much more strongly, such as children or older people due to decreased immunity possibilities.
But still, stop worrying about it!
