Unless there's a problem, why remove something from the body that was evolved and put there for a reason?
Anyway, I'm uncut, I've never had a problem with it, nor have any of the girls I've been with.

I was asked the same question when I was in the ninth grade which would have been almost 4 years ago. I was caught off guard by the question and was too embarrassed to answer.
Though that was probably the least embarrassing question girls would ask. I think a lot of adults would be surprised what words are coming out of younger and younger kids.

My 14 yr old, as sweet as she is, asks a MILLION questions.
Sometimes she shares the conversations she has with her group at school, and they are pretty um, graphic. Though, she isn't usually making fun of anyone, it's stuff I never thought of, or at least thought of at around 16-20 at the earliest...
I am VERY frank about it all with her. She is terrified to have sex, and they saw a baby being born (on video) in health class and she is freaked out about that now..lol
I bet at least 2/3 of her friends parents if not more, don't talk to their kids like I talk to her, so a lot of questions come home that weren't even hers to begin with.

That's the funny side.
Now, let's consider what can happen:
A group of women and myself were using the smoking area.

from my experience before I was cut Id say don't tell them youre uncut just so they can gossip about it. on the other hand, if you think youre about to have sex, I would tell the girl first. its alot better to have her say anything negative at that time than when youre naked and she sees which can be devastating.

I dont know any girls that care, and I personally don't. Infact my boyfriend isnt, and I kind of like it that way. Thats the way men were made, so I don't see anything wrong with it. A penis is a penis.
And any guy who's embrassed about it; dont be! Be proud of your member, if you don't have a problem with it, I don't see why any girl would.

I'm kinda surprised by all these answers. I'm female, and I greatly prefer circumcised, and girls do talk about this this topic. I've always heard preferences for circumcised when we girls discuss this face-to-face, so I'm surprised to read so many posts saying they don't care. You know, that's got me thinking. After reading these late replies, I'm wondering, where are these areas where they believe that uncut penises are odd or out of the norm?
I didn't know (or could remember) anything about foreskin growing up, until I found this site. For some reason, when I saw images of a cut and an uncut penis side by side, it didn't freak me out. I mean, a penis is a penis, right?
Maybe it's because I'm an oddball, but I was more suprised of what I learned rather than be grossed out about it. Then again, I was older. I remember when I was 11, being grossed out when I learned that I was going to bleed once a month. But a vagina is a vagina, right? Lol.

why i say that, is because of the extra skin = more surface area...
friend of mine (28) got cut and he was uncut, he had quite a bit of foreskin, more so than normal, and was about 5 3/4 before he had the surgery, after he said he was around 5 1/2.
than again the circumsition was a tight one.
i do take this as a possibility if not fact, i mean, if u have extra skin there, its going to be at least a LITTLE bit thicker, than if you were to get cut....
about the feeling the foreskin thing, i was only told that by uhhh 4 or 5 girls, cant remember, its too late... but yea...

Are you talking about erected or flaccid? The foreskin covers the glans. When erect, it retracts behind the glans. It doesn't retract all the way to the base of the penis. So, it's not going to add any more girth.

Anyway, I've never heard of this myth that uncut men have more girth. It doesn't make much sense to me, at least when it comes to an erect penis. I can kinda see how it can apply to being flaccid. I've never noticed a man's foreskin when having sex, but I don't make a practice of having unprotected sex. With a condom on, any foreskin vs. non-foreskin difference would be eliminated, imho. To be honest, for the longest time, I couldn't tell what the difference was because I only looked at the guy's penis when it was erect.
But either way, this wouldn't affect the actually girth of any penis because the girth is measured at the base of the penis, as you've said, Virtual Star.

A tight circumcision is one that removes a lot of skin, so in erection the skin is tight, as opposed to a looser curcimcision that leaves more skin. Most traditional US circumcisions are tight.

Sorry, this "extra thickness" is not true. I don't know where you measure the girth but it's pretty much accepted that you measure somewhere along the shaft, usually around the middle. The forskin attaches to the shaft just behind the head, so if you are measuring near the middle of the shaft, there is only one layer of skin there whether you are cut or not, erect or flaccid. The skin is not doubled up anywhere except on the glans when flaccid or if you are unable to retract when erect.
Your friend that got cut and lost 1/4 of an inch.... No chance in hell. I would be willing to bet my life on it that it had nothing to do with thickness from the forskin.

it did happen, and prove it... i was gonna just say whatever and leave it at nuetral, but u had to open ya mouth...
prove it to me...
if u have an excess amount of foreskin, and the reason why your girth is as thick as it is, is because of the extra amount of foreskin. then YEA its going to be thicker dumbass more skin = more coverage,
and i said that this was in comparison to a tight circumsition,
with extra foreskin on a uncircumsized penis its going to be thicker because theres more room for the blood to fill the shaft as well as the fact that its basically a cover...
heres a real life example for the ones who lack the intelligence of understanding what im saying...
picture guy A and guy B, identical, they are the penis's...
guy A has on a tight black shirt, tight black pants, and shoes...
guy B has the exact same outfit, except...
guy A has on an oversized over coat.
ya get it... good now stfu.

the tight clothes represent the penis as a tight circumsition.
if you get a big overcoat and put it on it, it represents the foreskin, and how the addition of that skin or clothing, make him bigger...
here ill change up my statement, at least this one i can STATISTICALLY prove is correct...
uncircumsized penis's have more volume/mass than that of a circumsized one...
