I need it. I need someone to talk to. I really feel as though I don't have anywhere to go anymore.

I need to speak to a therapist or a counselor.. but I can't afford it.. and I really don't think my parents will pay for it. What can I do?

Since you're Canadian, there are a number of options open to you that are free counseling. For example: If you're needing counseling because you're grieving for a friend, there are special community centres to help those who've lost a loved one.

I know it sounds lame, but I've seriously gotten a lot of helpful information from calling 1-800-O-Canada - they can direct you to all sorts of useful government services.

As a person with a mental illness, I've had a lot of free counseling, but I don't know if that sort of thing applies to you.

I didn't ignore your post, and neither did a lot of other people.

I can't say I've ever seen that happen... unless the previous posts were either lies/retardedness or something like that. But if someone makes a post in this depression forum, I hope no one would use that against someone, because that'd be fucked up.

Well, I think some assholes tried to do that with me a few times, but that was a long time ago I'm sure.

Same here.

Yet here we are, posting like retards. I took a long break from this place which was a refreshing splash of cool water on da face. Everyone needs to break from daily routine, no matter what that *routine* may be.
