Ok, so my GF has met a new friend & they both wanna try Ecstacy for the first time.
They can get it for $60 a pill & apparently its "Heavy".
I figure this means it cant be good but they still wanna get it....should I be worried? Alot?
What exactly would they mean by Heavy?
Please, anythng on the matter would help

Well, for a lot of the part, drugs are always bad and worth being worried about.
XCT is one of them.
However, if you're looking for the short term effects:
* Pupil dilation with attendant photo sensitivity and color perception
* Impaired vision
* Nystagmus, rapid involuntary rhythmic eye movement, with the eyes moving quickly in one direction (quick phase), and then slowly in the other (slow phase).
* General restlessness
* Loss of appetite
* Increased heart rate and blood pressure
* Dehydration
* Depression (Skag/Come down) after the effects have worn off
* Trisma (jaw-clenching) and bruxia (grinding of the teeth).
* Stimulated senses
* Frothing at the corners of the mouth

Another problem that can come from prolonged and short term use would be Hyperthermia, which is where core body temperature rises too high until the major organs shut down.

From resources I have, addiction is possible, and can result in severe negative affects to the body. Brain damage where serotonin receptive neurons are damaged can cause severe depression, and cannot be fixed.
Neurotoxicity increases with prolonged usage as well. Meaning, the more you take it, the more chemicals are released into your nervous system. Some of these chemicals, over time, can become toxic to the System's workings, killing off nerve cells (which, mind you, can never be repaired)
Also, XCT is one of those drugs that get less "awesome" as you take it, so once you take it, you'll never get the desired effects at the same level again.
This is common to lead into overdoes situations, which can quite commonly kill you. However, overdose on XTC is generally difficult to obtain, considering the normal dosage of the drug is well below lethal levels. You'd have to try to overdose to do it.
So in Highlight (read this if you skip everything else):
I would (like everyone else) recommend you don't take the drugs, or let your GF either. For one, it is dangerous to your health. For two, I would recommend spending $60 on something that will last longer than an hour, like saving about 4 pills worth and buy a Nintendo Wii or something. At least you can use that for ever, and it won't kill off the part of your brain that makes you happy.

Yeah and besides all the really bad parts of this like the damage to her body, who is her new friend. Because I've heard that people like to have sex on X... and I'm not saying your girlfriend would do that but you might want to find out.

As SS said: €60 for just 1 pill? Either they've got their numbers mixed up or somebody is seriously fucking them over.
E can be quite bad for the wrong people, especially when you get it cut with bad chemicals. So I'd suggest your gf not try it, if not to save her life then at least to save her wallet.

As I understand it, the massive intake of Serotonin dulls your judgment, since everything you do will feel "right". Since the primal urge of humanity is to continue the species, and survival is no longer an issue, the body's natural function would be to have sex. The increased sensitivity due to nervous system imbalance will also make it seem partly more enjoyable. Sadly, the depression from the come down, and the fact it will never be as good as the first time, will make living afterward somewhat difficult to deal with.
It can make you want to have sex, and with just about anyone. Regardless the moral or commitment obligations. (Like your GF and her friend for example, or any guy around)

Why does everyone act like everyone will have sex while on E?
If you don't want to have sex, it's just as easy to say no than when you're not on E. It just makes people feel really good when they do have sex, that's why people do it.

60 for a pill is bull crap. i used to date a dealer and she would buy em for 1 a pill and sell them to close friends for 3 street 5. if your at a party and demand is HIGH the max you will get is 10 a pill. they are getting ripped off and if its your first time you do not want to try heavy. heavy is a high mdma (right acronym right?) percent.

Yeah, that's the right acronym I'm sure.
Although, Heavy won't OD you, even first time, which is good, but it will probably overload your system a bit. The only reason they make heavy is because the more you use it, the less gratifying it is, which just shows the possible dangers in it.

$60 is ALOT for E.
E is fun the first few times. But its pretty addicting.. I was way to into it when I was in college and it screwed me over big time.
Make the smart step to skip over that one.
