I have been having a stinging in the anus every now and then. It always stinges a few seconds and that't it.Always the same spot. It's not related to bowel movements. What could this be? Have you ever had this? It only lasts a few seconds and isn't really painful but still noticable, as if somebody injects something in your hole but it's not around the hole but a maybe 1 inch inside of the hole.

I think it might be the dingleberries left over from the last BM. Maybe wiping better, or more thoroughly, might help your situation, even though I know you said it has nothing to do with your BM.

Probably from wiping too hard..or using cheap toilet paper.

No, it's not the prostate. It's IN the anus but only a few millimetres.Kinda like when I stick my finger in there. It's really at the beginning of the inside. Could this come from the lower back? My back hurt today pretty bad from sitting so much.

I am not sure, usually hemorrhoids do not sting like that, do they?

I've had something like this, but it felt like a needle stuck into the anus. My doctor had a long name for it. Said it is common, nothing to worry about, and (at the time) had no known cause.

it is? I thought it was "ex-wife" In fact I take exception to your your words, Im sure iM right! as to the stinging, outside of an x, Iv never had that problem, not in nearly 37 years, if I did and it was more than once in a great while, myself, Id see a doctor. I know jack shit about hemorrhoids, so I wouldnt dare say that thats what it is. I also know nothing of what iM about to suggest, but it will give the OP something to look into. Fistulas, I know a guy I used to work for had them and needed surgery, and they are in the area hes speaking of. like i said, I have no clue what they are, syptoms or anything but its worth a google search for the OP, or anyone interested.
