Orgasm and "cum" are the same meaning. By "cum" in your post I'm assuming you mean "squirting". Sorry for nit-picking, but it can get confusing.
And no, it's all a lie. No every female orgasm will result in squirting. Again, sorry for being nit-picky, but your measurements are a bit backwards. A cup is larger than a fluid ounce. And for a female to produce that much is a bit far-fetched.

About half the studies did, and half did not. Roughly both had the same results. Both had results of over a cup in a few cases.
