Is there anything special I should know about the Yaz birth control pill?
I was on Ortho-Tricyline for years & years, then off it for a couple yrs, now a new doc prescribed me Yaz. Is there any difference? Does anyone have any experience with this type and any side effects?
(I know what the label says, I'm just wondering about personal experiences.)

There's a thread here that may be useful. Unfortunately the search function won't work on words of fewer than four letters.

Thank you for the tips. I'm also finding some helpful info at the main Yaz website: http://www.yaz.com/html/index.html
Yaz is approved as: 1) an oral contraceptive; 2) a treatment for PMS (emotional and physical symptoms); and 3) a treatment for moderate acne.
All in all, it sounds quite nice. I'm hoping it will control the timing and frequency of my periods.
