Has anyone taken this? What are you experiences with it?

I've been on it for about 2 weeks. I feel like a zombie and my appetite has decreased.

Generally the good effects of antidepressants take up to six weeks to appear, while the side effects start at once and most gradually decline after six weeks.

i've been on lexapro since the summer, personaly it made me very tired allot of the time, i stopped taking it last week.

also remeber perscriptions like these affect every one differently, and usualy take a while to work enough for a visable change :] the new medicine that i am taking made me feel extremely hyped up for the first few weeks, but i adjusted. your body needs to get uset to the changes taking place. which might explain the loss of appetite.

Awhile back I took Lexapro and it did absolutely nothing for me. \:\(

Thanks everyone for the replies. My symptoms have been a little odd:

-loss of appetite. I weighed myself on Monday and I'm 117.
-feeling "drugged." I feel high and drowsy at work. I usually just sit at my computer and I yawn constantly.
-dizziness

On the bright side, my anxiety and depression seem to have lessened. I'm going back to the doc on the 24th and I'm going to ask him to lower my dosage.
