Alright well I have decided to push my training regimine up a bit to try to get into 110% shape, especially for tennis.

What I have been doing everyday was- (these exercises have been an addition to the tennis training we do)
1. One mile by moderately running
2. 1000 jump ropes
3. 15-30 minutes of endurace lifting (just enough weight to just work on endurance, not trying to max out)
4. 5-10 mintes of sprint drills

I have been doing those 4 things everyday however I still don't feel like I'm really gaining much endurance from them; I feel like how I was many months ago. I'm in decent shape but I want to be in super great shape so that when I play in tennis matches, I have nothing to worry about except playing tennis. Because sometimes the racket does get a little heavier especially in long matches or sometimes I do need to catch my breath and pause a bit after a long rally.

Some people have told me that I shouldn't mix these endurance drills with lifting drills on the same day. They claim that my muscles are probably not recovering fast enough to gain the strength and say that I should probably swap between endurance drills and lifting drills every other day. So I need some ideas to help me build up great endurance no matter how difficult it is. If possible, I also need maybe some kind of step by step thing I can do everyday so that I have a schedule I can sort of follow.

They're right, do endurance some days, lifting others, and take a day off. You're stressing your body, and that'll get you no where except a pissed off, over worked body.

But is the amount of exercising I'm doing actually a lot?
