Almost two weeks ago I got a very strange period. It was brown, smelt AWFUL and lasted twice as long as usual, a lot of the time just being very light. It was also two weeks late which has never hapened with me before, my periods are always like clockwork. The "blood" was all stringy looking and there was a light brown/pinky discharge with it. I was getting stomach cramps like my period was going to start for about 3 weeks before it actually arrived too. I am sexually active at the moment and had unprotected sex (without him cumming) around the time I was ovulating. I'm getting a LOT of pregnancy symptoms at the moment and have been for a few weeks but I know the chances are slim. Could the browny period be due to it being so late? And would it be worth taking a pregnancy test since the chances are so small? Thanks for any help
Ah.. sometimes periods really can be worse or different from other periods you have had. However, if it is concerning you, or happens again, I would definitely recommend heading in to see a doctor and getting that checked out. Also, if there is a possibility that you are pregnant... take the test. That will rule out that possibility and get that out of your head. Good Luck.
