Ok, my girlfriend and I have had sex before, but she gets so freaked out that she is going to get pregnant...for a few days after we do it, shes still like...im pregnant...i can tell. So, we dont have sex anymore because of how she freaks out. I asked her if she would want to as long as she didnt freak out and she really does want to still, but she hates the freaking out part. Here's the thing.

Shes on birth control
I use a condom
She doesn't even let me finish in her with a condom on.

What is her chance of getting pregnant? What comferting things can I research and tell her to help with this issue?

Please help,
Sexually frusterated Taylor...

Hey, nice to see you back, Taylor!

Under those conditions, chances of her getting pregnant are zero.

Is she a worrier in general? I mean, does she tend to worry about other things?

People who are worriers have great difficulty not worrying. You could point out that life is full of potential major disasters that have tiny probabilities, and the only way to live life is to ignore these things, since they almost certainly will not happen and if you worry about them life becomes unliveable.

People for whom life does become terrible because they can't stop worrying may need professional treatment, and possibly anti-anxiety medication.

How long and how much sexual activity has she had?

If she's new to sex then she's probably going to worry more, in other words, in may be phase. If sex is something new to her then it's a possibility that she just hasn't learned to trust the birth control methods you all use, which are pretty damn full proof. More than likely as she becomes accustom to having sex, and not getting pregnant from it, she will become more relaxed and open to sex and will freak out less and less after having it.

You guys are so kind, and right. lol, My first reaction to this was, if she is THAT freaked out, she shouldn't be having sex.

It doesn't seem that she could possibly get pregnant with what they are doing, so maybe she needs to be able to accept the fact that sex CAN cause pregnancy, and be ready for that possibility. Then she would be ready.

Plus, to the O.P. it is almost impossible to know your pregnant THAT soon after sex. Even with my planned child, it took a few weeks to get a reading on the pregnancy test.

Let her know that worry is like a rocking chair, you can do it all day long and it gets you nowhere. There is little to do until the first missed period as even a test isn't going to confirm a pregnancy until then.

The sole fact that she is birth control is over a 99% chance that she won't get pregnant. Stack that on top of the fact that you are wearing a condom (which are very highly effective if used properly) and then she won't even let you finish.

I honestly think that would have to be a miracle for her to get pregnant.
