i recently had oral sex in the shower with a girl. i did it for less than a minute and i was wondering if i could have gotten an std in my mouth? i was also wondering if there is any possible way i could have gotten and std on my genital area? from what i remember our genital areas never came into contact with eachother. this happened only a few days ago so when is the soonest i should get tested?

Relax on this one.

While it is possible for you to have gotten an STI orally, the chances are so small as to be non-existent. She's not a street tramp, is she?

If the genitals had no contact, there would be nothing there, either.

Be sure of your partners and be sure to use the proper protection.

well it happened at a party and i was drinking. and i found out she does tend to get around a bit. i usually dont go around doing this kind of thing. i just drank a lot and didnt really realize what i was doing until i sobered up..

I bet that was a popular move: making the bathroom unavailable during a drinking party?

I suppose you could go at any time to be tested if you're concerned about it, but I think it's pointless to worry.

One addition:

HIV can be tested by the usual means in 3 months.

There is a more expensive test that can be done now.
