Ive had waxing done once before, full legs and full bikini. That was in december of this year. When i had it done it didnt remove all the hairs and my legs and bikini zone were still like rough and prickly. The woman said its because i shave. wellt hen my question is, how long do i need to stop shaving for before i get waxed, in order for it to come out smooth?

Not really something anyone can tell you. Everyone's hair grows at a different rate. For example, the hair on my head grows really bloody fast. An inch every 5 weeks or so. My hairdressers are shocked! But my pubes don't grow that fast at all!
It varies from person to person, and can vary with an individual as well. You just need to watch yourself and learn!
The average is supposed to be 0.4mm/day growth, which makes it about half an inch a month. So by that theory you should be able to wait a 4-6 weeks to get a decent waxable length of hair, but that may not be the case in reality.

The problem being if a girl has hair on her legs a 1/4" long, Id rather she shave and have a few missed hairs or a bit of stubble than have to be the fucker waiting for it to grow to that length so it can get smooth again. I like long smooth legs, who wants to suck on a hairy thigh? shave the bastards, then there is no reason to wait till its so damned long before dealing with it.

I dont shave or wax cos shaving make my hair rough and I dont like waiting too long for the hair to grow so I can wax.
I use an epilator to get rid of hairs in unwanted places.........for just one reason I dont have to wait for the hairs to grow too much like in the case of waxing.........and it gives better and longer lasting results than shaving. And you can use it anytime.
