k so i am taking some ritalin that my friend is giving me... anyway i am wondering if i get a drug test will it show up?!? if so how long will it stay in my system?!? need some help... and guys please dont talk me out of taking it, thank you so much!

Yes, it will show up in the test. According to this page it stays in the system for 1-2 days, though I wouldn't rely on it.
People take Ritalin off-label for various different reasons - can I ask what is yours?

I would guess the same reason I used to take it.
So I could feel my hair grow, smoke a pack of cigs in an hour and wonder if I really had bugs on me or if it was just the speed making my skin crawl.

I'm just curious, what do people do with it? Why would you take it? What are you supposed to get out of it?
I know you can sell the shit out of them but they've never done anything for me and on bad days I've taken like five to eight times the prescribed dose. All they do for me is make me focus, grind my teeth and be in a bad, if not severe, depressive state when I come down off of them, not to mention the god awful headache.
That's why I try not to take the fuckers unless I really have to.
