Hi im 19 and im not sure if i have ADD or ADHD. What i know for sure is that i have problems concentrating on reading. Im in university and i can't concentrate on reading. I get through a paragraph and just stop thinking or understanding and usually just get up and do something else. I went to see my doctor, and he said i dont have ADHD as he called it since i was an adult.

I've always had problems concentrating, especially when im trying to read stuff or study. I also have a short attention span on things too and i have a bad memory.

Do i have add or adhd? or is there a way to sit down and actually read solid for 20 minutes? ive tried the "just sit there and read" technique, and i can say, it aint working.

you might have it... adults can have ADD too... were you always like this as a child?
my suggestion is that if you legitimately think you have it go get evaluated by a psychiatrist or neurologist.

I answer your question, i think the material is boring. I havent found any courses i have taken to be interesting. I guess thats kinda sad.

I guess ill try to get my doctor to get my a referal to see a shrink.

Try to study with someone. Have them explain things to you. That way, you're really just multitasking then.
