i can say with a garentee i have had this for a year, so i dont know if that means im out of the woods or not since im not too familiar with the rate skin cancer might work. but since i recently found out just about anything i think looks normal could be otherwise i thought id get it looked over. im setting up an appointment but id like to get anyone's opinion on this in the meantime.

it might be hard to look at so let me put it in context. it's the largest mark on my body close to the diameter of a pencil and it's got a blotchy edge, it's slightly lighter in the center and a little on top, and i mean very slightly. it isnt elevated at all, had no unusual texture, and i dont feel any unusual sensation from it. it would of been nice if i had known if its always been there or not.

i got irish skin and my dad had agent orange exposure and is a recent cancer survivor so ive had a few scares already with other stuff so i like to start keeping up on this stuff.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but it might just be a birthmark.

I'd make careful measurements and then measure again in six months. If it's the same size there's no problem.

Is it a problem to have it looked at by a doctor?
