Now my girlfriend has been getting some nausea lately, this doesnt worry me because she has a wide amount of allergies including wheat, gluten, and lactose and she's been on this no wheat or gluten diet for a while and just has let go these past two days due to my graduation we went out for pie and what not, but, yesterday she said she was getting her period because she saw a little blood on her pad, but she let me look at it, because for some reason I second guess everything we've done sexually thinking, "Oh god, could we have done something wrong? could she be pregnant?" it's a horrible feeling and I have to get over it, i know this. But so I looked at it and it was a sort of brown color, red and brown but more on the brown side, and it was on one spot of the pad. I dont know I guess I'm just sort of confused as to what this is. It doesnt gross me out, I guess I'm really not that used to girl things.

try not to critisize my paranoia of pregnancy, because I know

it sounds like she was starting her period. it usually starts with spotting and then begins. some women can have a light flow or a heavy flow. Most girls I know use tampons, not pads

the blood is brown at the beginning of a period. it should be fine. For me, when i start my period, i spot for a day or so, it seems, so maybe thats what shes doing. no worries

thats okay. Sometimes it takes a day or two.

Its too early to really have any signs of pregnancy, I'm pretty sure. If shes stressed about it, it might delay it as well.

No prob. I got a lot of pregnancy scares myself, so I know what shes going through. for extra precaution, we use a condom, AND he pulls out, so no worries anymore \:\)

that is good to hear.

I just have one more question... can the amount you eat affect the blood flow of a period? because my girlfriend has been spotting periodically. the blood hasnt picked up at all and because of her allergies she isnt able to eat that much considering the food she can eat is expensive and her parents arent really able to afford to buy a lot of it.

she has a very low blood flow. She said she really doesnt even need to use a pad because it's not that prominent. is that bad?

I'm sorry. but that's odd... is her flow always this light? for me, I have to change my pad and tampon every couple hours for a day or so, then it slows down.

Thats good to hear! the only thing im worried about is why she was spotting for so long. She may want to get that checked out. I mean, from what i recall, she was spotting for over a week my periods only last about 5 days... so.. yeah. that worries me a tiny bit. im not sure if you mentioned this already, but how old is she?
