And it's starting to piss me off. ( It's not a chronic thing, but I just didn't know where to put it. ) It's been since I got off school for the summer. I'll stay up late-ish, between 11 and 1, but usu. fall asleep around 12:30 or so...but I won't wake up until 10:30! And I want to get up around 8-8:30. (I enjoy my alone time, and my mom only works until 3:30) I have 3 alarms set, 1 for 8:30, the other at 8:40-ish, then another at 9. Neither of those work, I'll snooze the first one, thinking I'll get up (strike 1) the 2nd one is my stereo, I'll just let it play, (strike 2) and snooze the second one, again, thinking I'll get up. (stike 3, your out! until 10:30 )

WHAT can I do???!?!? Wahhhh!! And I have lots of things to do this summer too, I have to read a book, I have to start studying my Jap., I can't ignore that, my teacher went out of her way to get me books, and I have a song on the piano to learn!

Suggestions?

Have you thought about having one alarm clck as far away from your bed as possible...forcing you to get up to turn it off? I wanted to get up early so I could go to school and get work done there before classes started and so had to get up super early for school. I had to get up to turn off the alarm clock positioned in a box far away from my bed so effort had to be put into getting it open, then jumped (okay, okay stumbled) into the shower. After a few weeks it becomes second nature to get up early.

By the by, what piano piece? Just curious.

I'm very interested to see if anyone has any ideas. I've done the same thing as you! I can NEVER wake up to my clocks. I have three clocks (two electronic, and one wind up). I thought it was just the tone or sound of the alarm, but I have three set up here and none work. If I put them farther away they don't even wake me up. Sometimes, I'm not even sure if I wake up at all (but it seems like I must sometimes, because my alarm has been messed with).

My apologies, I meant to tell you much earlier, but, my life got the better of me and went and made me busy. Love Song, by Sara Bariellis. My friend is going to sing it, and I'm going to play it [at my winter recital].

Aye, munch, I got the same problem. Either the stereo is turned waaaaaayyy down and I don't even remember doing it, or it's the wake up for 30 seconds to hit the snooze, then go back to sleep.

I demand satisfaction! *glove slap* C'mon A2A!!

might work
or better yet:

http://www.ohgizmo.com/2007/03/20/alarm-clock-capable-of-damaging-pacemakers/

I had an alarm in high school that looked like a basketball, you threw it to make the snooze work then had to climb out of bed and find it to shut it off when it went off again 9 minutes later. I can not find one like that now and mine has been missing for 20 years.

How about this one? :

lmfao,my alarm clock is across the room on top of a dresser and i still somehow manage to turn it off in my sleep. im not kidding. sometimes i wake up, but some days il just get up in my sleep i guess, and turn it off. i think ive gotten too used to it. you should tack it up on the wall where you cant reach it without a chair or something. get a really high up shelf. do that with all 3 in different spots.
