I'm trying to figure out how many calories I burn, not because I'm trying to lose weight at this point, just curious.
Supposedly I read your body burns your weight x10 in calories. then 20% if your lazy 30-35% if you're decently active and 40% if you exercise plenty.
So I weight about 165 pounds without water weight so I assume that means 1650. I'd put myself around 30% active wise so assumingly I burn 2145 in a day.
But wait, this other page contradicts a bit oh joy. According to it you can increase your metabolism but 25% exercising or exercising with weights or something, which I do do.
So is that an extra 25% on top of my 30% or 25% on top of lazy mode being 20% so do I burn 1650 + 45% or 55% o.O
So now it appears I burn between 2392 - 2557 Buuuut wait there's more! it also depends on your metabolism apparently so if you only eat once or twice, it could be lower.
However due to my crystal light tea that I drink 5-7x a day (5 calories each) that means I probably have close to 9 "meals" because supposedly anything with calories will kick in my metabolism. How much does that add o.O
It sounding like I could be burning close to 3000 calories a day, is this true, or am I misunderstanding something.

I think none of that is true, wherever you got it. Given that info, I should burn roughly 1650-1700 calories a day, and I eat usually no more than ~1400. So I should be losing weight out the butt. Wouldn't that be nice, eh?
It comes down to exercise, and how much energy you actually use during the day. Like running for an hour expends 160, etc...

Running for an hour should burn a hell of a lot more than 160 calories o.o
I believe I was burning 6 calories a minute just walking at a slow boring pace.
