After doing cheerleading for two years. i started getting bad pains in my lower back (the inbetween where you back and butt meet) maybe syatic? any ideas how to make this pain better or anyone have my problem. i went to PT and it got better but still comes back and is getting worse
There are back exercises that can help strengthen your back if you do them each day. If you have pain there all the time, seeing a chiropractor can be helpful.
Make sure your bed is not too soft - a firm mattress is much better for a bad back.

To expand on the bed idea: Try sleeping on your side, with a pillow between your knees. It's supposed to be the perfect angle/alignment for your back. I've done that a couple times when I have my back aches, and it seems to help.
