I'm in love with a girl and today she leaves for a year in a canadian boarding school.
Well, first of all I'm a 17 year old guy with some problems...
Like I said, I'm in love with that girl, but when it comes into sexual (masturbation, porn, etc) I prefer to watch gay stuff, and I don't want that to happen.
I hang out a lot with friends (male) and I just have to pretend that my sexual life is straight, and I'm scared if I go drunk (which we usually do once a week) I start getting horny with them.
I need some help here... and if you ask me, I prefer to be straight > gay.

You will be what you will be and it's not unusual for someone who is 17 to be unsure. If the guys you hang around with have gay tendencies, chances are that the alcohol may bring that out. If you're concerned, you might avoid alcohol when you're with that group. Having your girlfriend gone for a year when you're only 17 will indeed be difficult, but others have done it before you and you can too if you put your mind to it.

Hello Moztaza,
You shouldn't worry about that. What you watch at home is up to you, to the boundries of legality ofcourse. Though i know a few guys who watch gay porn and they're completely heterosexual. It doesn't make you any less heterosexual or any more homosexual.
With the friends thing, just try your best not to get too drunk when your out with them, by all means have a drink but just not too much that you might do something you regret. I know thats hard but just give it a try. The rule i live by is never get so drunk that you end up doing something you will regret when your sober, i.e. breaking into someones house to go to the toilet, start a fight with a police officer or pissing on your dog.

You're only 17. Don't stress out about it. just do what feels right to you. It will all come together for you in the next few years. Just relax and have fun with your friends and your life....

Oh yeah i know loads of guys who are into girls but they like 'guy' stuff, its up to you what you do about that though, if you think its cheating if you do stuff with a guy then just dont do it if you love your girl.
