Hey everyone! Long time no see, but I've been lurking and reading...
]
Anyway, I was wondering what would happen if I uninstalled Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (and its various components) from my computer. It appears it was installed while my boyfriend installed Microsoft Office 2007 from my computer, but I'm not sure exactly what it does.

Do I really need this program and its components on my computer?

SQL is a high-level database language. My guess is that you might need it for Access, or certain functionalities of Access. Is it causing trouble?

You should be able to safely remove it, but things like this don't really do any harm.. They aren't being used and just take up space on the drive. Are you running out of disk space or something?
