my boyfriend came inside me for the first time today, and... i had missed a pill about three days ago. we both looked online and noticed that quite a few people mentioned getting pregnant on birth control when they've missed a day. we went and got the morning after pill just in case and i'll be taking it shortly, but it would still be nice to know how likely it is that i could.

Amy, this is a question without an easy answer. In short it depends on where you are in your cycle. Fertility is generally at it's peak at the midpoint of your cycle. For birth control pills to be effective it is important to take them at a regular time and not miss one.

well, considering i'm taking the morning after pill, are my chances pretty low at getting pregnant despite me missing a day?

Yes, since you're taking it right away. I suppose that you realize that should have been using an alternate form of contraception since you had compromised the effectiveness of the BC pill by missing a day.
