Has any one ever done this, make it where you eat no MSG. From what ive been reading its everywhere, and in everything, except for natural fruits, vegtables, and meats. unless the crops are dusted with msg which some are.
so far ive been cutting out processed foods, soda, and fast food, but MSG will be harder to do.
I know everything in moderation is oK... but I used to just eat all day and eat, eat, eat, and never feel full, which is one of the things they same MSG does. I just want to start to eat healthy and feel better.
Any one else trying to do this?

MSG is just a form of the natural amino acid glutamic acid, so cutting it out altogether is neither practical nor desirable, I think. It's only too much that is bad.

From all the sites ive read, they say it is bad for you and is not the same as what your body makes. I just know every site I read about it says its bad, and people have alergic reactions to it, also can cause headaches. Ive always had random headaches my whole life, could it be it? Dont know, it could be something else though.
apparently it is in fresh produce now too so I think it would be virtually impossible to not take in any of it. Maybe im paranoid about it.

Too much can well cause problems. But the objection that manufactured MSG contains too much of the mirror-image isomer isn't correct, as the commercial material is made by fermentation and is purified well and has less of the mirror image than do natural foods.
Also, objections to different forms don't hold much water - in the body MSG and glutamic acid are the same, and glutamic acid bound in food proteins is hydrolysed in the body to free glutamic acid. I think it's all a matter of amount. (Which goes back to the dictum of Paracelsus, "the dose makes the poison" - meaning everything is bad in too high a quantity, and everything is harmless in low enough quantity. It's not true of carcinogens, but it's generally true of most toxins.)
