Why is it that when i'm really sad and depressed, I usually go out and spend money on stuff I wouldn't normally purchase?

Does anyone else do this?

heh, i think its cause stuff = distractions

its nice to get distracted by brand new shiny things so do you don't think about how bad your life may be sucking right then. not a big deal unless you like go out and buy a car you can't afford
