Hey guys, so for maybe the past 4-5 years I have had what looks like a wart to me, I never thought much of it, its at base of my shaft and just one small wart. I was curious on if I could remove it, and I started reading about HPV and so now I am alittle worried, my girlfriend never contracted anything from it, nor has any of the other girls I have been with...It hasnt grown or spread...its just a wart on the base of my penis and I have had it for 4-5 years it feels like...
What I am wondering is could this be HPV? I herd it could take years to show up and all this..or is this just a common wart or skin tag? Thanks pls help...would like to get more info since I cant get to a doc for a week!

The more I look at it, it seems like a skin tag, im pretty confused thanks for any help

It's impossible for us to say over the internet. Ususally HPV warts are cauliflower-like, but up at the base of the shaft it may be different... You best bet is to see your doctor.

My boyfriend had something like that for the last while.. He went and got tested and he was clean... (obviously as weve been together 4 years and neither of us have cheated)
He had to get them removed with liquid nitrogen (OUCH!!!) he said it went fine but i think he was being brave.
Definetly see your doctor. If you're too scared, go to a clinic.. not sure where you live but in Canada its free here and the liquid nitrogen is also free.
