So friday night I had an evening of drinking. Probably 6-7 drinks?
I don't usually drink that often. Around drink 5-6 my right hand started to feel funny. Then it kinda moved up to my arm and then eventually in the evening it went all the way up to my shoulder.
I was FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. Plus I was drunk.. so it didn't help.
I literally stayed up until 4:30AM panicking. I was scared I was going to have Saturday Night Palsy.. my cousin had it a few months ago and it took her months to recover..
I finally went to bed and made sure i didn't sleep on it. In the morning it felt better but I still felt it a bit.. even now I can faintly still feel it in my arm.
WTF was it??
It wasn't like a tingling pins and needles feeling it was just like a dull feeling.
Anyone ever have this happen to them?

Hey Steph.. Don't panic.. It's quite common...
The term pinched nerve describes one type of damage or injury to a nerve or set of nerves. The injury may result from compression, constriction, or stretching. Symptoms include numbness, "pins and needles" or burning sensations, and pain radiating outward from the injured area.
One of the most common examples of a single compressed nerve is the feeling of having a foot or hand "fall asleep." or a "dull pain".
Pinched nerves can sometimes lead to other conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, and tennis elbow. I pinch the one in my neck a few times a year at least and in my shoulder too. that's the one that effects my are the most... I sometimes get it just from turning my head too quickly, or even has happened when I was throwing the ball for the dog.
if the pain continues have a doctor take a look at it. they have some medication that help relieve the pain, and inflammation so it can heal..
does that kinda make sense?

ok good lol.
I guess I've had that happen to my neck a few times this year too. Once from looking out a window and the other time from brushing my hair!
God i'm accident prone.
