EEw. I have a wart on my foot!!
What would you recommend is the best way to remove it.

I never had much success with the salicylic acid wart removers you get at a pharmacy. I think it is just not strong enough. A doctor can use liquid nitrogen.

Last year it was free.. this year is it $20 to do it. I thought we had free health care here?

go to the doctor. he's probably freeze it off. Get it looked at. Planter warts are hard to kill..

My son developed a large plantar wart on the bottom of his foot near the heel..
The doctor froze it twice and gave him acid and told him to keep it covered with duct tape. It took weeks but he eventually killed it.

I think the solution in the duct tape kills it. Thats one thing I heard..
another is that if you cover it with duct tape it pretty much suffocates it because there is no air which kills it

No. it's not the tape itself.. As you said, duct tape makes a good seal on the skin and the lack of oxygen kills it. Thats how the doctor explained it...
