Hi I have fordyce spots on the head of my penis and a few just under the head and also on the lower shaft. The ones on the shaft i can deal with but the ones on the tip of the head of my penis i really hate and am very self concious about. Does anybody know of anything that can either get rid of them or lesson there apperance?? also does anybody else on here have them?

A Fordyce spot is a modified sebaceous gland, found on mucous membranes such as the glans and the lips, forming small dots. They are quite natural and are not usually even noticed by other people.

They often look kind of like goosebumps to me but sometimes they look a little more... disease-y. I'd guess if you have just a few its probably not a big deal, I wouldn't sweat it.

Does anyone know of anyways to help get rid of them or to make them so visable? Im really self conscious about them and always have been, they even stop me getting close to woman as I get nervous that she will think there warts or some std. I have a LOT of them. The worst ones are the ones on the head of my penis. can anyone help??????

I don't think there is anything that can be done about them. Usually the guy (you) thinks it looks much worse than it really is.
