im sick of going to the docter or dermatologist for my face can anyone help me with my bumps on my face? noxzema "triple clean",rubbing alcohol isopropyl,or clean and clear which one would work better?

I've tried proactive but there are so many different things and so much involved that I couldn't keep up with it and I forgot to do stuff all the time. Ussually i'll just use Oxypads and Neutrogena Body Scrub.

takes me 5 minutes each session of washing my face with Proactiv stuff. twice a day. So 10 minutes a day. My acne was bad, so I was determined to get rid of the buggers.

something u can do is... cleanse tone and moisturize.. buy a good toner cleanser and a good moisturizer.. do it once every morning an night.. every day.. you will see a difference

lol. That's pretty much what proactiv is. You use a cleanser, then a toner cleanser, then a moisturizer. And about twice a week you use a sulfur mask, which i have to say is DA BOMB.

Yeah, it does. You can also order some cream specifically for that. Scarring can take a few to several months to go away, but with the cream it only takes weeks.

It's supposedly only sold through the TV and the internet. But I got my supply at a nearby mall. And I'm sure if you have an "as seen on TV" shop, you'll find it there.

How long have you been using it? The redness usually takes longer to go away. Proactiv has a seperate cream to make it go away faster though.

oh i never used this proactive stuff... i went to the dermatologist and he gave me this cream shit... but eventually i just washed my face every morning and night with with dove soap and now its alot better... but you can tell i've had alot of pimples, just cause the redness

iv used proactive in the past, that crap didnt work at all...i use Benzaderm gel 10%. It would make a pimple go away over nice...if you use it daily,you will see MAD results

That's what I was thinking it would be. It wouldn't make any sense for proactiv not to work and then something else that has the same active ingredient work. Unless either one was using it wrong.
I've also used Brevoxyl which also contains Benzoyl Peroxide 4% and it worked. It was just easier with proactiv since it lasts 2 months as opposed to the tube of Brevoxyl which didn't last nearly as long.

I ordered and used Proactiv once, but it made my skin chaff. I didn't use it long enough to see any difference in my acne though. I use clean and clear now, and I'd say it works pretty well, for me. I think different things for different people because we have different skin.

Well, you can try all those chemicals and products, but what acne breaks down to is oil and dirt under the skin. The best treatment is to just eat right (fruits and vegitables) and drink lots of water. I have very few zits on my face but i drink around 8-10 glasses of water a day. It clears everything out, it's like a shower for the inside of your body. Water is the best solution.
