ok hi lets say i like this girl lets call her Stefanie and she kind of likes me but im not sure what way.I want to be more than friends with her but i don't know what she wants i don't wanna ask and get turned down so what do i do?I mean we are good friends and everything but i want more how do i know if she does?

Ask her "Out of curiosity, if we were together, would it make you happy?"... If she says no or doesn't give you a more reliable yes, than back off of the idea.

I'd also say just ask her... BUT... if you're too afraid to do that... do you have any mutual friends b/n the two of you? Ask one of them to slyly bring you up in conversation and find out... Or, just ask one of HER friends.... more than likely, it'll get back to her from that friend, but if she doesn't like you, at least you didn't have to hear it straight from her...
My guess is you're pretty young... so I'll advise the indirect method for now... but as you get older, girls like direct honesty. Just a thought.

I hated the indirect stuff when I was younger. Just confusing and most of the time the information is not exactly what was said.
