So i'm going to a party this weekend, it'll be the first time i've seen my old gf since she broke up with me... I'm not to sure what to expect, on one hand i'll be happy to see her again, on the other hand i have my broken heart...
I'll probably just end up talking to her sayin some shit thats been on my mind..
but i was just wondering if anyone else has been in this typ of situation before?

I'd say try to avoid her...until you feel comfortable as friends, don't overdue it, and if you feel mad at her, walk away, get your attention on something else, like Music...or something that won't make u think of her...

Well, last weekend I got drunk. Mainly because I was going to see my best friend who I got in a fight with and that was the first time we would see each other since the incident.
Not much was said about what happened, except I apologized. She just said I don't need to apologize because I was just telling her how I felt. I dunno, it's been really awkward still.

Good, don't hook up with her. One major heartbreak by one person is bad enough.

she`s your ex right!?!!
then your broken heart shouldnt be broken anymore. IF your still thinking about her like that, then your putting yourself in a terrible position. you must get rid of that "broken heart" and start messing with other girls.

Revenge, my friend, revenge! Play her like she played you. Butter her up with compliments and then go in for the kill. Afterwards, you will feel so good. Never walk away from someone who has wronged you.

yeah no offense but sucide is pretty damn stupid... Everyone has ups and downs in life, it all depends on your attituted you take toward the suffering

You attitude towards the suffering is pretty negative. Not every one can just "get over it." If you can, yay for you, but not everyone's the same...

I wasn't suicidal over that, I'm not that pathetic. However, I do have bouts of depression when I think (think, not act upon) about dying. Actually, I don't (and rarely do) know why I feel this way, I can't explain it. It's in my nature. Do I enjoy it? Of course not, who would? I can't help it. The more "help" I get, the more fucked up I get. But enough about me. I agree completely with Sexpert about how some people can't get over some things. You can't make someone get over something. You can try but it rarely works.

all i was saying was, your attitued towards suffering effects the outcome...
for example, my grandpa died, i was sad for about a week, bu then i realized i shouldn't be sad that he died, i should be happy that i knew him and enjoyed the time with him... just a simple change in attitude...

I think of it as change of perspective which then results in change of attitude.

I don't know about the rest of you but it's hard for me to change my attitude about something simply because my mood fluctuates so much.
