So, I was talking with a coworker and we somehow got on the subject of "Brokeback Mountain" and I started to tell him about the plot of the movie. He couldn't understand how a guy could go from having (vaginal) sex with a woman to having (anal) sex with a man, because vaginal sex is so great. He mentioned how a girl he was dating trick him and I assume fingered him in the butt or something. I didn't ask details. He said he didn't like it at all. To me they just seem like two holes, but I'm the virgin. I feel like I have no authority on anything relating to sex. I've been told it's great and all, but I can't even orgasm from fingering. I'm more opening to trying anal 'cause I think my butt been stretched more (from non-sexual experiences). So it doesn't gross me out as much. It's just another option for me since I'm not that eager to try vaginal.
Okay, I got off track a little. Since guys don't experience the pain (that I know of) from vaginal sex, they think it feels great, but for a virgin I'd said it's equivalent to a guy having a guy stick his penis in hi butt for the first time. For the ladies that have tried both anal and vaginal sex, which was more painful for you the first time? Maybe straight guys could consider it a rite of passage...to experience what it's like for a virgin women the next time they are so eager to have sex...or just to get some sort of understanding.... I don't know.
Thoughts?

Actually anal sex give a good pleasure for women and men but for those first time you need to force your self, start practicing using dildos and for sure you also enjoy that and I think it is not disgusting.

First, let me say that the guy you were talking to sounded like a homophobe...
Anyway, it depends. I get nothing from anal sex--no pleasure, no arousal, nothing. It honestly gives me the sensation like I'm about to poop or something. However, I've heard of some women loving anal...

I think he is a homophobe.
Well from just having experienced fingering as my only form of penetration, vaginal "sex" felt like that. It was just the pressure of something being inserted and often the wrong way and too big. Now on the other hand, I've passed some pretty large bowel movements. Though I've felt like I would pass out, I seems like my anus stretches better than my vagina.

Well, biologically a baby is supposed to come out of the vagina, and they are bigger than any bowel movement. But perhaps the vagina carries more psychological baggage?

I don't know about psychological damage. I'm wondering about physical pain factor. Babies are big and would hurt coming out of either end, but I talking about penis size. The vagina is supposed to stretch for babies, but their are women that can take the pain of vaginal birth or have a hard time.
What if my vagina doesn't end up stretching like it should? I've been trying to use tampons when I have my period and it takes me forever most times to get one in and usually I think I have it in wrong. When I try to take 'em out it's really hard 'cause the material expands inside. The opening doesn't seem to stretch either. If I ever have sex it's going to take forever to get anything in pain free.
I know last time someone mentioned I should practice with a dildo, but even with one finger it feels uncomfortable, more than one finger I feel the opening stretching and pulling. It does NOT feel good. I really don't have any incentive to go further or try bigger objects. Preparing my body for sex disturbs me, like I don't know.... The concept seems so weird, preparing for sex with guys.... I never really like the idea of sex. The older I get the more unappealing and risky it sounds.
It seems impossible that any relationship will stick. I can't muster the courage yet I to go after the guys I want (which usually don't like me). Plus, what guys is really going to wait 'til I'm ready?? I know, the right guy would wait, and love, blah, blah, blah.... Guys are free from physical pain during intercourse. I don't even think they would understand and you get frustrated and loose patience that they can't have the kind of sex they want...the kind that's supposed to be so "natural" and what were "built" to do.

I didn't really mean psychological damage. I meant that the vagina, and what goes in it, can be ascribed so much importance as to what sort of person a woman is, how she is viewed by society, and so on, that it wouldn't be surprising if the brain just decided to clamp it shut to save worry.
