Parkinson’s Disease (PD)

Parkinson’s disease results from the death of cells located in the substantia nigra, a region of the midbrain.  Symptoms start with slowness of movement, difficulty walking, shaking, rigidity, and can progress to dementia.

Parkinson’s can be a huge burden emotionally, financially, and on caretakers.

Below are a series of videos that give you a sense of the disease, treatments, living with the disease, and taking care of the disease.
